In order to do this, you'll have to take a look at the layout of a texas holdem poker table. The table is usually rectangular, with nine seats - one for each player and two additional seats at the end, which might be occupied by an additional dealer and/or another player who has agreed to join in. Of course, if seating is not available in the traditional way it might also be in a square formation or whatever other pattern that makes sense for whatever type of room you're in or whatever your personal preferences are. The most important pieces of furniture in a poker table are the chips and the cards, as well as the dealer button. All of these pieces will be discussed in greater detail here. Chips come in many different categories and types, but they all serve the same purpose: they represent a certain amount of money that a player is willing to bet on a hand of poker. The denominations on each chip can vary from place to place - for example, two dollars might be written as "2" on some sets and as "$2" on others. There's no real standard for this - it's just whatever is more convenient for whoever is responsible for printing out new sets every time they're needed. There are two main types of chips on the Texas Holdem tables. The first is the working chip, which is what most Texas Holdem poker players refer to when they casually talk about "chips". These chips are usually quite small - typically each one represents $5-$10, but they can also be found in denominations anywhere from $1 to $100. The second type of chip on the texas holdem poker tables is referred to by the players as "extra" or "money" chips. This type of chip is used in all but the rarest circumstances; these chips are very large and very expensive, with denominations often exceeding $1000 for all of them. Cards have been dealt in a similar manner for at least three centuries. Cards are shuffled and cut, and players are given their cards to hold. They might be dealt face-up (rather than face-down), depending on the style of poker being played. One player gets a card while all the rest get several; one player gets three cards while the rest get two; or all players get two cards each before one, two, or three more are dealt to each player in turn (this is called "ante" - see below). On a texas holdem poker table, there should always be one extra card that is set aside because it represents the "dealer button". This card is placed to the left of the dealer, and whenever a new dealer is needed he or she will be selected based on who has the dealer button - this also determines who will deal first in any hand. If there are two dealers for whatever reason (for example, if you were playing Texas hold'em poker with eight players), then there would obviously be two dealer buttons; you can choose to use one button for each table, or you could pick one individual at random (perhaps by rolling dice) to take both dealer buttons. cfa1e77820
